Monitoring

  • Traffic from NetFlow v5/v9, IPFIX and sFlow v5: top talkers, applications, conversations, link utilisation with the 95th percentile, and unusual traffic
  • The Map tab: sites around the WAN, links from CDP/LLDP, router latency, jitter and link load
  • SNMPv3 everywhere Monitaria speaks SNMP, with SHA-1, SHA-2 or MD5 authentication and AES or DES privacy
  • Every switch and router port over SNMP: utilisation, errors, discards and unused ports
  • Syslog and SNMP trap receivers with the Logs tab and rules that raise problems
  • Cisco Meraki, Ubiquiti UniFi, Fortinet FortiGate and HPE Aruba Central devices through their own APIs
  • Router, switch and firewall configuration backups over SSH, with what changed

Alerts and reports

  • Incidents: related problems grouped with the probable cause first, optionally one alert per incident, and the noisiest sensors
  • The report builder: saved, branded reports, previewed, printed, downloaded or emailed on a schedule
  • Scheduled email reports and the health review by site
  • Explain this for a problem, from built-in rules (optionally with an AI explanation), and a read-only MCP server

Integrations

  • PSA tickets (ConnectWise PSA, Autotask, HaloPSA, ServiceNow, Jira Cloud) and PagerDuty paging, acknowledged both ways
  • Documentation sync to IT Glue and Hudu
  • A versioned OpenAPI 3.1 reference and signed event webhooks with retries
  • Import devices, sensors and groups from your current monitoring tool's export

Deployment and access

  • A Docker image and a one-line installer for Ubuntu, Debian and RHEL-family servers
  • High availability: an active/standby pair of collectors
  • Single sign-on with OpenID Connect or SAML 2.0, and SCIM 2.0 provisioning
  • Settings › Sites: one answer to which site each device is at
  • Archive, restore and clean up devices that are gone

Released

  1. 1.2.0

Windows server health, and device details on the hub.

    • Device details list a Windows server's stopped automatic services; ignore one on that server or on every server.
    • Reports › Windows health: Windows version and end of support, age of the last update, the fullest disk, stopped services and antivirus, printable and as CSV.
    • Collectors send an allow-listed summary of each device's details to the hub (no addresses or user names), shown under each device.
    • Windows (WinRM) checks need two failures in a row before going down, so a one-off error pages nobody.
  2. 1.1.0

    The first collector VM images.

    • The collector as a virtual appliance on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS: OVA, VHDX and qcow2.
    • Discovery of this network, the networks behind the router, CDP/LLDP neighbors, other sites and any subnet.
    • Ping, TCP, HTTP(S), DNS, TLS certificate, SNMP v1/v2c and Windows (WinRM) checks, with device inventory.
    • Dashboards with a network health score, built-in templates and editing.
    • Admin, operator and viewer roles, limited by device type and site; two-factor sign-in required for admins.
    • Alert rules for email and webhooks, dependencies on each site's router, maintenance windows and acknowledgements.
    • Availability reports, the audit log and read-only API tokens.
    • The hub, with Microsoft and Google sign-in, and signed license files checked offline with a 30-day evaluation.
