HTTPS certificate

Replace the appliance's self-signed certificate with one from your CA.

  1. Issue a certificate for the collector's DNS name from your internal CA (AD CS, for example) or a public CA.
  2. Open Settings › HTTPS certificate and paste the certificate (with intermediates) and its private key in PEM format.
  3. Choose Install. The key is checked against the certificate first, stored readable only by the collector, and used immediately.

Tip: Keep the collector's web interface on a management VLAN and reach it over VPN rather than exposing it to the internet.
